Vicenza, Padua and Verona are all very nearby. Then there is Lessinia, the fossils of Bolca, Bassano, the walled cities of Soave (and its “strada del Vino”) and Montagnana, hiking in the Piccole Dolomiti, the high plains of Asiago, and Palladian villas throughout the province, not to mention Venice, which is just a 40-minute drive away.
